Principal's Welcome
At Frome College we fully understand the trust placed in us by families who choose our College to educate and inspire the next generation.
We are a high performing college where, whatever their starting points, students make excellent progress. This means our students achieve some of the best exam results in national, regional and local areas and leave as successful, ambitious and confident young people who are equipped with the skills and attributes needed to lead fulfilling and happy lives. The majority of our young people go onto Futures- our Sixth Form, from there to university and the world of work.
Essential to our success at Frome College is our culture of hard work, commitment and discipline with learning firmly placed at the heart of everything we do. We have a strong and committed team of staff who work closely with students to develop their aspirations and achieve their potential. As a result, we enjoy a college which is calm and civilised; we are particularly proud to offer a complete and generous education with the widest choice of subjects in the area Our Curriculum. In order to give our students a chance to immerse themselves in an interest or discover a talent, we offer an extensive range of extra-curricular activities. We hold various taster days across the academic year and we always encourage prospective families to come along to our art, drama, musical and sporting events to gain an idea of Frome College life before joining us. Our main aim is to work with the staff and lead our students so they feel represented, comfortable and supported whilst working hard for their futures.
