Dragons Den Success for Design Technology

Our first ever Dragons Den event in Design Technology was a roaring success!

Students formed teams to tackle 3 real-life design challenges related to our school site:

Litter and recycling solutions

Disabled access improvements for buildings

Better signage for visually impaired students

Over 6 weeks, the teams researched, designed, and modelled innovative ideas. They had to consider client needs, budgets, materials, and how their products could enhance life at our college.

The event culminated in tense pitches to our "Dragons" judges as the teams sold their concepts Dragon's Den style!

A huge thanks to The Rotary Club of Frome and Frome Rotary for supporting this inspiring event and helping nurture the next generation of designers and entrepreneurs.
