Bronze Medal Triumph

We are thrilled to announce that our very own Liam B, a Year 12 student, has just clinched a bronze medal at the Global Powerlifting Committee World Championships in Trnava, Slovakia for #TeamGB !
Competing in the Men Teens 67.5kg class, Liam showcased extraordinary strength and determination with these impressive lifts:
  •  Squat: 135kg
  •  Bench Press: 90kg
  •  Deadlift: 160kg
This outstanding performance put Liam on the podium, competing against some of the best young powerlifters from around the world. We couldn't be prouder of his achievement!
But Liam's journey doesn't stop here. He's already setting his sights on the World Championships in Brazil! 
Liam's dedication to his sport while maintaining his studies is truly inspirational. He embodies the spirit of excellence we strive to nurture here at Frome College.
