On Friday 19 January, Frome College hosted an outreach session by the local charity Key4Life.

This Somerset based organisation works really hard with young ex-offenders and those at risk of offending, to help change their lives and the directions they are going for the future.  It provides emotional resilience training, employability skills and helps clients find work placements leading to full time employment.

The re-offending rate for their client group is very low and the Home Office is very supportive of the great work that they are doing.

The charity gave two presentations in the main College Hall to students in Years 12 and 13, followed by a workshop with groups of selected students.

It was a very successful morning and the students and staff were very impressed by the guests and the work done by Key4Life.
