Year 12 BTEC World of Work students organised a Christmas jumper mufti day for the charity Save the Children on the last day of term before Christmas.
Students were asked to wear something with a Christmas theme, e.g. a jumper, festive hat, snowstorm manicure, Santa onesie, gold/red/green/sparkly clothes. They all donated a minimum of £1 or more towards the charity. A fantastic £652.66 was raised
On Tuesday 17 January, three representatives from Save the Children came into College to receive the cheque from Principal, Mr Ball and the Year 12 students who organised the fund raising.
In the photo with the BTEC World of Work students are Principal, Mr Ball, with Kathy Bogan, Lysbeth Ballantine and Angela Daniel from the Save the Children charity.
Thank you to everyone involved and to those who generously contributed.
I have three children at Frome College, all very different types of learners with different needs. They have all been well supported and well taught with teachers who are caring and committed to their students.
