The Merlin Theatre is situated within the grounds of Frome College. It is a professional, 240-seat theatre showcasing a wide programme of dance, theatre, music, comedy, children’s shows and community performances . It is independent from, but works closely with, the College and is a great resource for students both within and outside the curriculum, enabling students to have an unique opportunity to perform in a professional theatre.

A unique feature of the campus is the ECOS (European Community of Stone) amphitheatre, an outdoor space used by students and the community. ECOS was opened in 1992 to coincide with the Single European Market. The amphitheatre is surrounded by twelve illuminated stones - one from each of the then twelve member states of the European Union. The whole project was achieved thanks the contributions of local community groups and industry.
